Daniel Phiri
Executive Director
Holds a Master of Business Administration from Malawi School of Government (formerly MIM)
and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture from LUANAR.
He specialised in Financial Analysis and Reporting.
He is a highly skilled Operations Analyst who has worked with Nacala Logistics analysing
and optimising daily operations to enhance efficiency,
accuracy and overall performance.
Prior to joining Nacala Logistics, he worked with EMMAC Civil Engineering Contractors as the Project Administrator.
He brings to CSD, 10 years of leadership and Management.
Beatrice Mphande
Director of Human Resources
Holds a Master of Science in Management Studies from Malawi School of Government (formerly MIM),
a Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Malawi (Chancellor College),
an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from the Association of Business Executives and
a Diploma in Customs and Clearing from National School of Customs and Clearing.
She specialised in Development Administration and has worked as an Assistant Human Resources Officer for Air Cargo Malawi Limited.
Prior to that, she worked as Human Resources Assistant for Blantyre Adventist Hospital,
Sales and Administration Officer for OSEAS,
Adminstration and Human Resources Officer for for Malawi National Lottery,
Human Resources and Sales and Administration Officer for Anglia Book Distributors Limited and
as Customs Clearing and Shipping Officer for Access Freight International.
Beatrice brings to CSD 20 years of extensive experience in Human Resources and Administration.
Peter Mawere
Director of Operations
Holds a Master of Science Degree in Management Studies from Malawi School of Government (formerly MIM),
a Bachelors Degree in Education from Catholic University of Malawi,
a Diploma in Education from Domasi College of Education and
a Diploma in Theology from Zomba Theological College.
Peter specialised in Corporate Governance and worked as an Education Coordinator for the Malawi Catholic Education Commission.
Prior to joining the Catholic Education Commission,
he worked as the Program Manager for Mary's Meals Malawi and
as a secondary school Teacher under the ministry of education.
He brings to CSD over 30 years of extensive experience, leadership and management.
Peter Effie Fred Kalepa
Director of Technical Services
Holds a Master of Science Degree in Management Studies from Malawi School of Government (formerly MIM),
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Extension from LUANAR and
a Diploma in Agriculture and Natural Resources Management from Natural Resources College.
He is a certified Scientist by the Alper-Doger Scientific Index; ranking him as one of the World's top Scientists,
a Development Administration Specialist and has worked with African Parks as a Conservation Extension Officer but prior to this,
he worked as a Consultant (catchment management) for the World Bank-funded Shire River Basin Management Program,
a Managing Partner for Alliance for Research and Development (ARED),
Director of Programs and Training for Alliance for Agricultural Development (AAGRID),
Agricultural Extension Development Officer and Assistant Veterinary Officer in the ministry of Agriculture and Food Security.
He brings to CSD over 18 years of leadership and management in areas of Research & Development,
Extension, Project Management, Agriculture, Natural Resources Management and Biodiversity Conservation.
Osward Paul Chinkombero
Director of Finance and Administration
Osward has completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Malawi School of Government (formerly MIM).
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy),
a Diploma in Accounting and is a member of the Malawi Accountants Board.
He is also a registered student of ACCA.
He has worked with Reunion Insurance Company as Finance Officer and prior to this,
he worked as Accounts Assistant for Sable Farming Company Limited.
Osward brings to CSD over 8 years of extensive experience in Accounting and Finance.
